HPV (human papillomavirus) is a common viral infection that affects the skin and mucous membranes. There are more than 200 types of HPV. High-risk types: HPV16 and HPV18. HPV is mainly transmitted through skin-to-skin contact, including sexual intercourse, anal and oral sex practices. Most HPV infections are asymptomatic. Research shows that I3C has potentially beneficial effects in human papillomavirus (HPV) infections and related diseases. I3C is converted in the body to diindolylmethane (DIM), an active form that has antitumor and immunomodulatory properties.
